Migtsema Retreat

Migtsema Retreat

2 – 30 January 2015

This is a very special opportunity to engage in guided retreat on the beautiful practice of Migtsema mantra recitation. The practice of Migtsema is very important for fulfilling one’s own and others wishes and contains the meaning of all Buddha’s eighty-four thousand teachings.

The sessions will be using the self-generation sadhana, King of the Dharma, and will allow time to focus on the various, beautiful meditation objects within this practice as well as for recitation of the Migtsema prayer.

The retreat can be done as a counting retreat or simply to gain familiarity with and enjoyment of these practices. You can attend the whole month or part of it.

Everyone is welcome to attend the introductory teachings on Friday and Saturday. The retreat sessions are only open to those who have received either a Je Tsongkhapa or Highest Yoga Tantra empowerment.

All four sessions on Sunday 4th January and the morning sessions on Monday 5th January will be guided.
The two morning sessions on Saturday 10th, 17th and 24th will be guided. The rest will be unguided unless retreaters feel they would like more.
