Transform Your Life

April 6 – May 18

The ancient wisdom of Buddhist teachings gives a refreshing perspective on the problems and

challenges of our daily life, encouraging us to look at life differently. Find real inner peace and a deep

happiness from practicing these time-honoured meditations and transformative ways of thinking. Be

inspired to establish a regular meditation practice that helps us make genuine change in our mind and in

our life.

This series of seven classes will look at basic Buddhist ideas such as the mind, reincarnation, death and

impermanence, karma, and faith. It is based on the book Transform Your Life: a blissful journey by Geshe

Kelsang Gyatso which is available at the class, or online from www.tharpa.com

The next term is June 8 – July 13

You can also catch these classes in Acomb, Beverley, Driffield, Goole, Pickering, Pocklington, Scarborough and York.

Each class includes:

a guided breathing meditation, a teaching, a second meditation based on the teaching and time for questions. Everyone is welcome to attend at any time and there’s no need to pre-register.

Everyone is welcome to this class to learn more about meditation and Buddhism. Seating is on normal chairs, no need to book or reserve a place, and no need for any special clothing.
