School & Group Visits
Madhyamaka Centre is happy to offer school and group visits. We welcome the following groups:
- Primary School
- Secondary School
- College
- University
- Adults
The visits are supervised by us and include learning how to do breathing meditation, a short talk on Buddhist thought, question and answer session, opportunity to meet and interview an ordained nun or monk and a tour of the meditation room and grounds. If you have specific requests we can try to include these- for example, teachers may wish us to address a particular topic for their students.
Visits normally take place between 10.30am and 4pm. To get the most out of your visit at least two hours is recommended. However you can stay for longer if you wish.
Fees (per person)
- School £2.50
- College and University £3.50
- Adults £6.00

Private Use
It may be possible to use our sitting room for your own private meetings. We can arrange provision of tea and coffee, or you can visit Madhyamaka Centre’s World Peace Café for refreshments. It’s also possible to book in for lunch with the community.
