Working Visits
enjoy making a difference
A great way to experience life at Madhyamaka KMC is to come on a working visit.
In exchange for 40 hours work, you receive: seven days free dormitory accommodation, three vegetarian meals a day, full use of all the centre’s facilities and free attendance at any classes or courses during your stay. It is also a unique opportunity to meet and work alongside members of the residential community and to find out more about the Buddhist way of life.

Please arrive for your working visit on the Sunday evening, arrange to depart the following Sunday evening, and bring a sleeping bag and towel. If your working visit is during an event, due to limited accommodation it may be necessary to sleep in a meditation room during your stay.
