Learn to meditate to overcome stress and worry, find inner peace, and experience better health and
more happiness in your life. Our meditation classes offer practical solutions to everyday problems and
are suitable for everyone.
Classes consist of two meditations and a teaching on different themes throughout the year. There is also
time for questions and refreshments. Although the classes run as a series, you can join at any time.
Everyone is welcome.
Transform Your Life
April 7 – May 19
The ancient wisdom of Buddhist teachings gives a refreshing perspective on the problems and
challenges of our daily life, encouraging us to look at life differently. Find real inner peace and a deep
happiness from practicing these time-honoured meditations and transformative ways of thinking. Be
inspired to establish a regular meditation practice that helps us make genuine change in our mind and in
This series will focus on basic Buddhist ideas such as the mind, reincarnation, death and impermanence,
and karma. It is based on the book Transform Your Life: a blissful journey by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso which
is available at the class, or online from www.tharpa.com

There is also an in-depth study programme at Miller’s Yard on Sundays Sunday Foundation Programme
Each class includes:
a guided breathing meditation, a teaching, a second meditation based on the teaching and time for questions. Everyone is welcome to attend at any time and there’s no need to pre-register.
Everyone is welcome to this class to learn more about meditation and Buddhism. Seating is on normal chairs, no need to book or reserve a place, and no need for any special clothing.
Class finishes with refreshments until 9pm.
